Crypto Casino Canada: Which Coin to Use, Fees and Speed

Some links on this page are commercial: if you open an account through one, we may be paid a commission. It does not buy a place in the ranking or change a score — the scoring criteria are published in full.

A crypto casino in Canada takes deposits and pays winnings in digital coins instead of card or bank transfers. Every one of the 12 sites we rank takes bitcoin, ether and USDT, and most add Litecoin, Dogecoin, TRON or Solana. The coin you choose decides three things: what the transfer costs, how long it takes to show in your balance, and how much your balance moves while you play. This guide compares the coins side by side so you can pick one before you open a cashier.

If you are looking for the sites themselves, the full ranking with licences and terms is on best crypto casinos in Canada. This page is about the money that goes into them.

Which coins Canadian crypto casinos accept

150% first-deposit bonus and 100 free spins

The casino matches your first crypto deposit by 150% up to 1.5 BTC and adds 100 free spins on top. Deposits land on the first network confirmation.

Coin lists differ more between casinos than game lobbies do. Two of our ranked sites publish lists of 80 and 120+ coins; others stop at four. The table shows what each ranked casino names in its own cashier or terms.

Casino Coins named Minimum deposit
Vave 80+ coins 20 USDT or equivalent
BitStarz BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, DOGE, BCH, TRX and more 20 USDT or equivalent
Jackbit BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, DOGE, TRX and more 20 USDT or equivalent
Stake 20+ including BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, XRP, TRX, USDT 20 USDT or equivalent
BC.Game 120+ coins 20 USDT or equivalent
TrustDice BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, DOGE, TRX and more Not stated
Roobet BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, SOL and more 20 USDT or equivalent
Wild.io BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, LTC, DOGE and more 20 USDT or equivalent
CryptoReels BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, BCH, DOGE 20 USDT or equivalent
Crypto Loko BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT 20 USDT or equivalent

The four coins every list shares are BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT. Anything beyond them is a bonus: useful if you already hold it, not a reason to choose a casino. Per-coin pages go deeper on Litecoin casinos, Dogecoin casinos, Ethereum casinos and USDT casinos.

Speed, cost and price risk by coin

A deposit shows in your casino balance once the network has added the transfer to a block and the casino has waited for the number of confirmations it asks for. That number is set by the casino, not the network, and it is usually printed next to the deposit address.

Coin Network block time Typical wait at a casino Transfer cost Price moves during a session
Bitcoin (BTC) About 10 minutes 10–60 minutes Highest of the group, rises when the network is busy Moderate
Ether (ETH) About 12 seconds 1–5 minutes Gas fee, varies with network load Moderate to high
Litecoin (LTC) About 2.5 minutes 5–15 minutes Low High
USDT on TRON (TRC-20) About 3 seconds 1–3 minutes Low; exchanges charge a flat withdrawal fee None, pegged to the US dollar
Dogecoin (DOGE) About 1 minute 5–20 minutes Very low Very high
Solana (SOL) Under a second Under a minute Fractions of a cent High

For most Canadian players the practical answer is USDT on TRC-20 or Litecoin. Both arrive in minutes and cost little to send. USDT has the added advantage that a 200 USDT balance is still about 200 USDT when you withdraw, whatever the market did in between. Bitcoin is the coin everyone accepts, but it is the slowest and the most expensive to move in small amounts.

Why the coin matters more than the bonus

Price movement can cost more than any fee. Say you deposit 0.005 BTC worth about C$450. If bitcoin falls 6% during an evening of play, your balance is worth about C$27 less in dollars without a single bet lost. The same thing works in your favour when prices rise, but the point stands: a volatile coin adds a bet of its own on top of the games.

Players who want their bankroll to stay put choose a stablecoin. Players who already hold BTC or ETH as an investment often prefer to play with a separate, small stablecoin balance, so a losing night does not eat into the coins they meant to keep.

Network mistakes that lose deposits

  • Wrong network. USDT exists on TRON, Ethereum, BNB Chain and others. If the cashier shows a TRC-20 address and you send ERC-20 USDT, the coins may not arrive. Match the network name on both screens before sending.
  • Missing memo or tag. XRP and some other coins use a destination tag. If the cashier shows one and you leave it out, the deposit reaches the casino but not your account.
  • Below the minimum. Most ranked casinos set a 20 USDT minimum. A deposit under it can sit uncredited.
  • Exchange fee eats the deposit. Canadian exchanges charge a flat fee per withdrawal. On a C$30 deposit, a C$5 fee is a sixth of your money.

The safest habit is a small test transfer first, then the rest once the test shows in your balance.

From Canadian dollars to a casino balance

  1. Buy the coin on a Canadian exchange, usually funded by Interac e-Transfer. Step-by-step instructions are in how to buy crypto in Canada with CAD.
  2. Open the casino cashier, pick the same coin and network, and copy the deposit address (and memo, if shown).
  3. Withdraw from the exchange to that address. Send a small amount first.
  4. Wait for the confirmations the casino asks for. The balance updates on its own.

Some casinos also sell crypto inside the cashier through a card partner. It is quicker but usually costs more than buying on an exchange, and the card issuer may decline gambling-coded payments.

Getting the money back out

Withdrawals follow the same path in reverse: casino to wallet or exchange, then exchange to bank. The casino side is where delays happen. Most ranked sites do not publish a processing window; Vave’s terms set a maximum of three days (clause 8.1) and pay balances above 50,000 USDT in instalments (8.8). Wild.io caps withdrawals at $100,000 per seven days (9.6). Identity checks usually start at the first withdrawal or above a threshold, not at sign-up. The full sequence, including what slows it down, is in cashing out crypto casino winnings.

Which coin to pick

If you want… Use Why
A balance that does not move USDT (TRC-20) Pegged to the dollar, cheap and fast
Cheap transfers without a stablecoin Litecoin Low fees, accepted almost everywhere
Every casino on the list BTC or ETH Universal, but slower or pricier
To use what you already hold Your coin, if the cashier names it Skips a swap and its fee
Instant credit SOL or USDT on TRON Seconds to a minute

The coin does not change the games, the house edge or the bonus rules. It changes how fast and how cheaply your money moves, and how much it is worth when it comes back. Bonus terms, which often matter more than any of this, are compared on crypto casino bonuses.

Set a deposit limit in dollars before you play, even when you deposit in coins. With prices moving, it is easy to lose track of what you have spent.
